Welcome to Marshall Elementary Magnet School
Dear Marshall Families,
As the holiday season unfolds and we near the close of 2008 I want to take this opportunity to thank you all for your generous support of Marshall School and for your warm smiles in the halls each day. Happy holidays to you all.
There are a few closing events that I want to remind you about. As you know Marshall is a school of character so this month we have been recognizing students who display exemplary “Caring “behaviors. In their honor we will have a luncheon on Friday, December 12th. Also, in the spirit of caring we are currently having a canned food drive. Students are encouraged to bring canned food for families in need. On Tuesday, December 16th Santa and crew will lead an indoor parade to collect the cans from each classroom and deliver the cans to St. Mary's food bank. Mr. Hamrah is tuning up the bike cart for the event. I hope to see you all at the annual Cookie Walk, one of Marshall 's favorite events. Bring family, friends and cookies and join us for the final event of 2008 on Thursday, December 18th .
Finally a friendly reminder: Friday, December 19th all students will be released at 11:30 AM.
